I’m Katrina Armstrong, founder of Thankfully Nourished; dedicated to the health and wellbeing of both my family and yours.

 

We all want to enjoy a healthy and well-nourished life, but sometimes life has other plans.

Thankfully Nourished was born of real life experience, sourcing nutrient-rich products to help with my family’s health challenges.

  • All purchases can be made via our sister-store GPA Wholefoods and in a variety of health food stores across the country.

  • Almost all orders are processed and dispatched within 48 hrs of being received.

    Transit time is 2 business days by Express Post and 3 - 6 business days by standard post. Standard shipping to WA and SA can take up to 10 days. Please note: If you choose express shipping, it will expedite your shipping time but NOT your processing time. If you need an order urgently, please contact us and we will do our best to help.

  • The main difference between collagen and gelatin is in the molecular weight.

    Collagen is lower in weight and size than gelatin and can easily be mixed into both hot and cold liquid (so you can add collagen to herbal teas etc. and it will dissolve beautifully).

    Gelatin is derived from collagen and has the ability to congeal liquids, making it perfect for making homemade jelly (but don't add this one to your cup of tea or as it cools you will get thick gelatinous tea!)

  • Shipping products across Australia can result in a lot of wasteful packaging. Here at Thankfully Nourished, we are doing our best to minimise this and still get the products to you safely.

    The light packing pellets in your box are made from corn starch and are totally compostable. Just tip them into your compost bin (or even onto the garden bed) and water them in. The green-tinted bubble wrap is an 'eco-wrap' and will biodegrade 10 x faster than regular plastic.

    The bubble wrap is only used where essential to ensure you receive the product intact. Australia Post requires each parcel sent through its system to easily withstand a 10m drop. Paper and corn starch packaging are used as much as possible.
